Write My Essay For Me

Taking as a starting point Heidegger’s “Origin of the Work of Art”, I have selected to analyse the “thingly” aspect of a work of art, which is one of the ideas that Heidegger touches in his essay.

The essay mustn’t be a sum up of the text (Origin of the Work of Art); secondary readings on Heidegger’s practice would be of an advantage. The bibliography is VERY IMPORTANT as it is a portrayal of the research, understanding, and analysis of the issue identified in the primary text (Heidegger’s Origin of the Work of Art). Footnotes are also of utmost importance as they demonstrate an in depth analysis and understanding to a further level than that of the bibliography – they tie up together all the information.

Here is a flow “chart” that will perhaps be of aid:

  1. Identify issue within primary text (thingly charatcter of artworks) –> 2. go beyond the text (what have other writers said? what are their ideas? comparative material) –> 3. bring in the text one case study of cultural material (how does the issue identified apply to something cultural?) –> 4. conclusion.

We need a bibliography comprised of at least 15 sources, and I have identified some which I believe are of good material.

Bibliography

– The Origin of The Work of Art By Martin Heidegger

– Art Matters: A Critical Commentary on Heidegger’s “The Origin of the Work of Art By Karsten Harries

– Heidegger: Off the Beaten Track By Martin Heidegger

– The Bloomsbury Anthology of Aesthetics edited by Joseph J. Tanke, Colin McQuillan

– Difference at the Origin: Derrida’s Critique of Heidegger’s Philosophy of the Work of Art By Paul Manithottil

– Art and Phenomenology edited by Joseph D. Parr

– Art and Its Significance: An Anthology of Aesthetic Theory, Third Edition edited by Stephen David Ros

– Transfigurements: On the True Sense of Art By John Sallis

– Heidegger on Art and Art Works By J.J. Kockelmans

– Heidegger and the Thinking of Place: Explorations in the Topology of Being By Jeff Malpas

– Philosophers on Art from Kant to the Postmodernists: A Critical Reader edited by Christopher Want

– Contemporary Aesthetics edited by Matthew Lipman

– Postgraduate Journal of Aesthetics, Vol 1, No 1, April 2004: Heidegger and Metaphysical Aesthetics by Rufus Duits from university College London

– Derrida’s Truth in Painting (brilliand play with the issue, great for comparative material)

In addition to the above, I will scan and upload the last essay which I wrote (similar to this one done for previous term), hopefully it will be useful [it was an analysis on the Kantian Genius (the cultural material i had included was Pollock’s work as an artist and whether he may be considered as a Genius Artist as per Kant’s writings – but it is not necessary to bring art as an example, just something cultural)].
